After walking through the gallery show in the lobby of the Art Institute of Washington, this piece stood out the most to me. First in the colors the artist used. The combination of red, teal, grey and white work very well together. The red dress pops as it is positioned in front of the teal background. Also, the use of black and white images works perfectly and creates a balance with the boldness of the background and dress. The way the artist scattered the images, so that they were not aligned evenly, creates a sense of chaos in a fairly simplistic creation.
